The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia created the Health Policy Institute (HPI) in 2004 to respond to the university’s objective of advancing and disseminating knowledge through research and scholarly activity. HPI will promote improvements in health and health care locally, nationally, and internationally through its work in developing new health care perspectives and disseminating key information that defines issues and informs debate. Through its understanding of relevant health policy and critical research, HPI expects to assist government, industry, and community leaders in developing and implementing strategic health care plans.
This area will be updated as the HPI expands its activities.
